Arduino Damien Good SNES APU Shield

Arduino Damien Good SNES APU Shield Description

Shield to interface a SNES audio processing unit (APU) to a PC, through the Arduino. This allows SPC files like those found on snesmusic.org to be played on an actual SNES APU, rather than emulating them.

Arduino Damien Good SNES APU Shield Pins Note:
While most of the pins are in use, The ones that absolutely have to be left in their current logic state of Vcc, while the APU is in use, are D10, D11, and A0. D10 is used to read from the SNES APU, (output on D2-D7 and D12-D13), D11 is used to write to the SNES APU through the same data lines, and A0 controls the SNES APU reset line. As Long as D10/D11/A0 remain at Vcc, all the remaining pins can be used freely, as long as there is nothing put onto them while those 3 lines are being controlled. Suggested that A1-A5 be used as control lines for any other shield.
